Our Story 

Ola, we are Isobel and Len and we are the proud hosts of Villa Isobel. Villa Isobel represents a six year journey of lovingly renovating a centuries old stone villa located in the hills of Vila Verde Northern Portugal.

Our goal is simple. To create a tranquil encounter in Northern Portugal surrounded by natural wooded forest trails and the serenity of the countryside. The patio offers a saltwater infinity pool, a wine bar and stunning views of the city of Braga.

Your experience includes fully appointed rooms with a freshly prepared seasonal full breakfast with fresh juices and Italian expresso coffee. Dietary preferences or restrictions are easily accommodated. Lunch or dinner can be arranged upon request at reasonable prices, please enquire and book 24hrs in advance. We offer regional wine tastings in our wine cellar or can help arrange wine tours to wineries in the Minho region. We also offer custom bike tours so you can see the beautiful Northern Portugal region and sample regional cuisine.
